Romper Style

It’s Monday Foster’s, as always here’s another blog post for you. I want to wish everybody a good week, no matter what you’re going through. I’m going to try and do the same. Thanks for taking the time  to read this blog and click the video that goes along with it. For the people who clicked over from my YouTube channel to read this thank you. Today is a quick OOTD on a romper I wore last Thursday.

Everybody has their different definition of spring. Most of us are all about the colors and flowy garments. Just because something is trending doesn’t mean we have to follow it to its finest.Trends are meant to be broken which is kind of what I did while wearing this romper. Here is a quote for you ” Fashion is a statement, not a style. Fashion does not have to be worn casually, nor outside the runway. Fashion is fit for all sizes for all people of all ages. Fashion is an art of personal self-expression, not an excuse to be pretty, popular and charismatic.” So basically at the end of the day the clothes you put on is a hint of expression of what you are. So break trends and start new ones.

psx_20160421_093646.jpg This romper is a little hard to put on. When I first got it I was a little confused on how it worked. Kept putting it on backwards, and trying to figure out how the straps worked. If you look closely you can see that it is pulled together by tan braided straps which are very thin. So I had to do a bit of adjusting to make sure it fits alright. I don’t wear strapless bras they always fall down. To me it looks ok ,but I don’t like how the bra straps show it looks a little bit funny especially with the thin shoulder straps. If you have any suggestions on a type of bra that would look good with this please leave a comment below. Talking about breaking trends, this romper to me gives me fall vibes instead of spring vibes because of its dark colors.Throwing in some white does offset the fall vibes a little bit.Prints are also trending Spring 2016 so its very pretty to have this floral print design on it. I wasn’t with my dad when he brought this and I have to say that he did pretty good at picking  which is something that I might actually like. I’m pretty sure he got it from the swat meet.

The sandals are my favorite. They’re so comfortable and the detailing is so pretty. The detailing are black and silver braiding which pull the shoe together. I borrow these from my friend all the time. I did ask her  where she got them from and she said she didn’t know because her mom brought them. I apologize for that since I can’t say where they came from. But these are really cute and I think you can see them a bit more from head on in the video.

psx_20160424_111502.jpg Thank you for reading this short blog on my outfit. Hope you enjoyed the blog and the video. Tell me what you think. If there is anything you want me to talk about let me know and leave a comment. Have a great week Foster’s see you next time.

Love, Dazhane Fisher
